THE WELCOME INN

Terms & Conditions

1. Reservations

Your room is reserved up to 2pm on the arrival date. You must guarantee your reservation at the time of booking; all non- guaranteed rooms will be released three days prior to arrival.

You can guarantee your room by giving your credit or debit card details at the time of booking or by paying for your room in full when you make your reservation up to three days prior to arrival.

The Welcome Inn must receive all cheque payments at least (5) working days before the arrival date. The Welcome Inn regrets that if a cheque is received late or dishonoured it may not be able to keep the room available.

2. Payment

At The Welcome Inn you pay for your room on arrival.

The Welcome Inn accepts payment by cash, cheque (with a valid cheque guarantee card), credit card (VISA, MasterCard).

Customers paying by cash are required to provide identification on check-in. Acceptable forms of ID are: current driving licence, ID card, passport, credit card or debit card, utility bill, bank statement(with address) or police warrant card.

3. Room Prices

Room prices are per room, per night and are inclusive of VAT at 17.5%. Meals are not included in the room price.

You may pay for breakfast at the same time as paying for your room.

The Welcome Inn reserves the right to review its room prices from time to time. If you make a reservation more than one month in advance the quoted room price may change before the date of your stay.

Although The Welcome Inn aims to inform you before it makes price increases, The Welcome Inn reserves the right to charge the room price current on the arrival date or you may cancel the reservation without charge.

For guaranteed reservations, if the price has increased by the time you stay at The Welcome Inn, you will be entitled (even if you arrive after 2pm) to cancel your reservation without charge and with a full refund if you have already paid.

4. Cancellations

If you do not cancel a guaranteed room up to 24 hours before you arrive, you will be charged for one night’s accommodation per room booked.

A cancellation reference will be given and must be retained as proof of cancellation.

If you decide to shorten your stay with us you must inform us by 1pm on that day otherwise you will be charged the cost of one night’s accommodation per room booked.

5. Group Bookings

If you wish to make reservations for 5 rooms or more, our group booking policy will apply. Please contact us for further details.

6. Person requirements

Family rooms offer accommodation for two adults and up to two children aged 15 and under (and a child under 2 years in a cot), or a maximum of two adults.

The Welcome Inn can provide cots at no extra charge.

Please be advised that a twin room may consist of a double bed and a sofa/pull out bed.
The Welcome Inn operates a no-smoking policy.

The Welcome Inn has rooms which are specially adapted for customers with disabilities.

Alternatively, if you have any difficulty walking but do not require a specially adapted room, you may request a room on the ground floor near reception for easier access.

Although The Welcome Inn will make every possible effort to accommodate your person requirements, all rooms are subject to availability. We apologise in advanced if your particular requests cannot be met.

7. Breakfast

Our Continental breakfast can be ordered on arrival and will be placed outside your room from 7am and removed at 9am.

8. Arrival and departures

Rooms are available from 2pm on the arrival date.

You must vacate your room by 11am on the day of departure. Failure to do so will result in additional charges up to and including the cost of one night’s accommodation.

If you require more detailed direction to The Welcome Inn please call the hotel directly and the Receptionist will be pleased to help you.

10. Please note

We regret that, with the exception of assistant dogs, no pets are allowed in The Welcome Inn.

Electrical appliances, such as toasters and mini cookers, may not be used in the rooms as they may set off the sensitive fire alarm system.

Prices include VAT at 17.5%. All prices and details are correct at time of going out to print ( Sept 06 ) and are subject to change without notice.

Admission to the Oasis Health Club is subject to conditions, details are available in room or from reception, please call 01709 514444.

12. The Superbowl

Customers can book and reserve bowling from the hotel reception, or can book direct on 01709 559026
