Terms and Conditions

1. Reservations

Your room is reserved up to 2pm on the arrival date. You must guarantee your reservation at the time of booking; all non- guaranteed rooms will be released three days prior to arrival.

You can guarantee your room by giving your credit or debit card details at the time of booking or by paying for your room in full when you make your reservation up to three days prior to arrival.

2. Payment

At The Welcome Inn. Payments will be taken after 2pm on the day before arrival. Should the payment fail we will endeavor to contact customers via the contact details we have been given. Should payments not be achieved the room may be resold.

The Welcome Inn accepts payments by cash and credit card (VISA, Mastercard).

PLEASE NOTE PAYING BY CASH ON ARRIVAL DOES NOT GUARANTEE YOUR BOOKING. Prepayment is the only way to guarantee your booking.

Customers paying by cash are requried to provide identification on check-in. Acceptable forms of ID are: credit card or debit card.
Customers paying in advance by credit or debit card must bring the card used when they check-in at reception.This is to cut down on credit card fraud.

3. Room Prices

Room prices are per room, per night and are inclusive of VAT at 20%. Breakfasts are not included in the room price.

You may pay for breakfast at the same time as paying for your room.

The Welcome Inn reserves the right to review its room prices from time to time. If you make a reservation more than one month in advance the quoted room price may change before the date of your stay.

Although The Welcome Inn aims to inform you before it makes price increases, The Welcome Inn reserves the right to charge the room price current on the arrival date or you may cancel the reservation without charge.

For guaranteed reservations, if the price has increased by the time you stay at The Welcome Inn, you will be entitled (even if you arrive after 2pm) to cancel your reservation without charge and with a full refund if you have already paid.

4. Cancellations

If you do not cancel a guaranteed room up to 24 hours before you arrive, you will be charged for one night’s accommodation per room booked.

A cancellation reference will be given and must be retained as proof of cancellation.

If you decide to shorten your stay with us you must inform us by 2pm the day before otherwise you will be charged the cost of one night’s accommodation per room booked.

Advance Purchase Rates - Payment required upon booking and are non-refundable and non-transferable. The rate is inclusive of VAT.

5. Group Bookings

If you wish to make reservations for 5 rooms or more, our group booking policy will apply. Please contact us for further details.

6. Person requirements

Family rooms offer accommodation for two adults and up to two children aged 12 and under (and a child under 2 years in a cot), or a maximum of two adults.

The Welcome Inn can provide cots at no extra charge.

Please be advised that a family room may consist of a double bed and a sofa/pull out bed.
The Welcome Inn operates a no-smoking policy.

The Welcome Inn has rooms which are specially adapted for customers with disabilities.

Alternatively, if you have any difficulty walking but do not require a specially adapted room, you may request a room on the ground floor near reception for easier access.

If you have any special requests, you must advise us of this at the time of booking your accommodation. Although we will endeavour to accommodate these requests, until we email or write to you with a specififc confirmation accepting that these requests can be accommodated, all special requests are subject to managers discretion.

7. Breakfast

Our Continental breakfast can be ordered on arrival and will be served between 7am and 9am.

8. Arrival and departures

Rooms are available from 2pm on the arrival date.

You must vacate your room by 11am on the day of departure. Failure to do so will result in additional charges up to and including the cost of one night’s accommodation.

9. Directions

If you require more detailed direction to The Welcome Inn please call the hotel directly and the Receptionist will be pleased to help you.

10. General Conditions

We regret that, with the exception of assistant dogs, no pets are allowed in The Welcome Inn.

Electrical appliances, such as toasters and mini cookers, may not be used in the rooms as they may set off the sensitive fire alarm system.

Prices include VAT at the current rate. All prices and details are correct at time of going out to print and are subject to change without notice.

11. Cleaning Policy

We reserve the right to levy a cleaning charge of £30.00 to guests, if a room is considered to be left in an unreasonable condition upon checkout.

12. Smoking Policy

All of our rooms are non-smoking, any guests found to have been smoking in their rooms will be charged a deep cleaning fee of £50.00.

13. Exceptional Circumstances

Except where otherwise expressly stated in these booking conditions, we regret we cannot accept liability or pay any compensation where the performance or prompt performance of our contractual obligations is prevented or affected by or you otherwise suffer any damage or loss as a result of unforseen circumstances. In these Booking Conditions this means that any event which we in question could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such events may include war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, terrorist activity or actual threatened terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, fire and all similar events outside our control.

Behaviour
When you book with us, you accept responsibility for any damage or loss caused by you or any member of your party. Full payment for any such damage or loss must be paid direct at the time to the accommodation owner or manager. If you fail to do so, you will be responsible for meeting any claims subsequently made against us (together with our own and the other party’s full legal costs) as a result of your actions.
We expect all clients to have consideration for other people. If in our reasonable opinion you or any member of your party behaves in such a way as to cause or be likely to cause danger, upset or distress to any third party or damage to the property, its contents and it's staff, we are entitled, without prior notice, to ask your party to leave the hotel. In this situation, the person(s) concerned will be required to leave the accommodation or other service. We will have no further responsibility toward such person(s) including any return travel arrangements. No refunds will be made and we will not pay any expenses or costs incurred as a result of the termination of accommodation.
When you book a room with us its sold on the basis that it has been sold for your own personal use, unless you have arranged with ourselves to be used by a nominated person prior to arriving. If your room is not been used in an appropriate manner then your stay will be terminated, if in our resonable opinion that its not been used by the appropriate people in an appropriate manner.

14. Complaints

In any event that you have any reason to complain or experience any problems with your stay whilst with us, you must immediately inform ourselves during the stay. Until we know of any problems or complaints with your stay, we cannot begin to resolve it. Most problems can be dealt with quickly by our staff.

17. Wifi Policy

Wireless internet provided at the Welcome Inn as well as wired internet in all of our rooms.
